Meet Melissa

Some of us spend our whole lives chasing after the newest workout, diet, or wellness product only to be disappointed in our results. I’ve been there! I have found myself in some many clothing sizes over the years, and so many different numbers on the scale! When I was at my “smallest” I found that I still wasn’t happy and was striving after something I still hadn’t achieved! I quickly realized that unless I approached my wellness from a whole body approach, spirit, mind, and body I would always be chasing after something to fill the voids!

In 2021 I came across Revelation Wellness and knew that this approach to wellness was exactly what I needed! I became a Certified RevX Instructor with Platooon 27 and have been working on adding to my knowledge of all things wellness related since then. I believe that when we include God in our wellness journey we can achieve the balanced wellness that we might not even know we were looking for.

Becoming Priority started as a personal fitness journal on Instagram and then became a podcast. We are all searching to become priority in some area of our lives, and I believe that when we keep our priorities priority, we will see that overflow into other areas of our lives. Our priorities change with seasons of life, but in all seasons, God and our families are our biggeset priorities! Being healthy so we can live a long life serving those we are called to serve and care for should be something that we are seeking for the long term, not just to reach a temporary goal. When we take our eyes off of our “bodies” and focus on our Creator, and what He created us to do, we can find joy in the journey as we love our bodies and all they do for us!
